Great experience!

Nice place close to lots of attractions

January 2019 - Snuck up here with my family for a long weekend getaway and we couldn’t have had a better time! We’ve vacationed up here several times, and I must say that the Laird Lodge is the most beautiful cabin we’ve stayed in! Upon booking, the owner reached out to us to introduce himself and give us his contact information in case we had any questions before or during our trip. He assured us that he hired new cleaner and the unit really shows - the cabin looked AMAZING. The owner was very nice and helpful and provided us with everything we needed right in the cabin to have a great time. We will definitely be back again! Katie B

January 2019 - Had a great time with the family. Hot tub was perfect and spent a lot of time in the game room. Area was close to everything and we will be back! Nanette B

August 2018 - Cabin is nice, 5 kids spent most of their time down stairs in the game room. While us adults hung out on the deck or by the fire. Our 2 families enjoyed our stay and had a great time at the cabin. Jeremy K

August 2018 - We enjoyed our stay here. Lots to do for everyone. Not far from town. Merissa B

July 2018 - The cabin was comfortable and spacious. Also very clean with everything you could need for a family vacation. The owners were great to work with and responded quickly to all of our questions. It is close to everything (shopping, town and hiking trails) but tucked away and private. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch drinking our morning coffee. We all loved the game room! The hot tub and camp fire were big hits for us as well. This cabin is located in the artisan area, with lots of cute local craft shops and restaurants. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Amy P

July 2018 - Cabin was Beautiful! Had some little issues, nothing the owner didn't handle right away. The driveway is STEEP !!!!! Which I expected after reading all the reviews and is part of the mountain cabin for me. My only issue with it, is that it wasn't wide enough for my liking. I drive a Tahoe, and it uses every bit of the driveway, especially at the approach. I kept wishing that I was driving a jeep. Overall fantastic! Owner...... FANTASTIC! Sheryl T

March 2018 - Everything was wonderful. Only issue was the upstairs tv did not work, I’m guessing it was the broken power cable. It didn’t bother us as we had our personal electronics. The cabin is wonderful, we had a great time. Would return again!! James G

March 2018 - This place is everything and the owner was very helpful in my time of need he didn't hesitate to assist and I've stayed in many cabins but this 1 by far was the best for my family and I'll be back soon thanks again. Lee M

January 2018 - We met our kids and grandson for the week. The cabin is in a great location and very close to Gatlinburg. Very roomy - We had six adults and an infant and never felt cramped. The game room was a big hit, we spent a lot of time down there. Nice size TVs everywhere. Also the Jacuzzi got a lot of use. You need a plan on the driveway - it is a bit steep, but you are in the mountains -Its part of the fun. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and also made use of the grilled a couple times. The cabin is located in the artisan area, so take time to look around and visit the local craft shops and restaurants. You will find everything from Irish Pubs, leather goods fudge, candles and concrete statues. Every one was really nice. The Ship and Three Jimmy's food was great. We went to a wine tasting and a bear tasting just down from the cabin. Also everyone in the group said all the beds were very comfortable. I even slept in the bottom bunk three nights and I am 6' 233 pounds. you will enjoy your stay. We had an issue with no power one night, called the management number - he was right on it and we had power within few moments - it was a tree down the line at the bottom of the hill. My point - very nice owners that are invested in their guest having a great stay. Johnny R

January 2018 - We are very please with this cabin and area, it was great.

December 2017 - My wife and I stayed at this incredible cabin and had the best time together. The inside has a fireplace we watched movies by and plenty of places to hike and explore outside. The owner was great and we hope to come back soon.

December 2017 - We stayed in this beautiful, cozy cabin after the holidays and it was more than we could've asked for!! We loved playing in the game room, opening presents by the fire, and rocking on the back porch. We highly recommend it to anyone thinking about coming to this beautiful area!!

December 2017 - Timing was perfect for my birthday get-away weekend at Laird Lodge. It started snowing right when we arrived and it was so beautiful to be in the cabin that was perfectly decorated for Christmas!! The views were pretty amazing! Thank you Brenton Hitchcock and Teeming Vacations!! The cabin offers everything you need...nice clean soft linens, towels and kitchen wares. We enjoyed a short walk in the snow to a local wine and tapas bar, then a short drive to the downtown area. It was truly a winter wonderland weekend! #gratefulfloridagirl

December 2017 - Laird Lodge was the perfect place for my girlfriends and I to get away to the mountains for a fun long weekend. The Cabin was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we got an amazing snowfall during out stay turning the property into a winter wonderland perfect for building a snowman and snowball fights. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the trees and distant mountains was just what we wanted as we wrapped up each evening. The giant wall of glass in the living room was amazing to watch the snow fall and view the trees lined with snow. The game room down stairs had every game you could want and would keep a pack of kids busy for days without a mobile device. However, the internet service worked great when we had to log in to work for a few hours. We walked to the nearby Taps & Wine bar for lunch and took a quick cab ride to the center of Gatlinburg for shopping and dinning when we wanted to get out but were not brave enough to drive the snowy roads. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking but we were on a lazy girls trip so we left the cooking to the local eateries and restaurants and there were plenty of options close to the cabin. I recommend asking the owner about the best vehicle to bring to the cabin if you are not accustom to driving steep roads. I am a Florida girl so I preferred to park my vehicle and take public transportation around. There is a Trolley at the bottom of the hill that can take you all over Gatlinburg and I used a local cab driver that was great.
